·Greetings! For sale here is an Omega Speedmaster Automatic/Reduced Racing Limited Edition 3517.30. This watch was release to commemorate Michael Schumacher's 2000 World Championship, with his signature engraved in the case back, and was limited to 4000 pieces. The example for sale here is numbered 3536/4000.
The watch has an interesting dial, the reversal of the black Japan Racing version with a red outer ring and orange hour markers. The black/grey squares play with lights and are sometimes more visible while almost plain white under certain angles.
Specs:
Ref: 3517.30
Material: Stainless Steel
Crystal: Hesalite
Movement: Omega 3220, based on ETA 2890-A2
Dimensions: 39mm Case diameter, 18mm Lug width
Accessories: None. Sold as watch only
Conditions:
Movement: Really the highlight of this example. Many people are hesitant of getting a Speedy Reduced due to the difficulties of servicing. While I don't know when this watch was serviced, it is currently running better than any of my recently (within a year) serviced watches at:
- +1.7s/day
- 0.1ms beat error
- 285 amplitude
See screenshot of my phone app timegrapher below. This watch can easily run without a service for the next 5+ years.
Chronograph: functions flawlessly. Chronograph hands reset to dead center zero.
Crystal: A few scratch on the hesalite crystal but could be easily removed with Polywatch.
Case: Some minor scratches and overall excellent condition.
Bezel: No noticeable scratch overall excellent condition.
Bracelet: 1469 Bracelet with 811 end links. Overall excellent condition. Total of 22 links (13+9), currently fitted using the inner most micro adjustment position to fit my 6.3' wrist. At this position the length is about 150mm. Micro adjustment can release another 17mm, plus the 39mm case diameter, it can fit up to approximately 205mm or 8' wrist.
Asking Price:
$1,950 Shipped 2nd day in CONUS (prefer US sales at this point). If buyer request faster shipping additional costs will be covered by buyer.
Face to Face available in SF Bay Area.
