I'm selling my 18k yellow gold 2767 Seamaster with stunning (and some patina) guilloche dial, to help pay for Mrs. Efauser's birthday present. The watch was serviced earlier this year and I will include the receipt with purchase.

Aside from a few scratches from servicing and a bit of polishing, the watch is in great shape. The cal. 354 bumper is running well. Some scratches on the 18mm width lugs, which isn't surprising for a watch made about 1956. During service I replaced the generic crystal with an Omega-signed crystal. Based on wear, I suspect the crown may be original. This beauty is ready to strap on your wrist.

I'm asking $1500.00 which includes shipping, within the ConUS, and PayPal fees. Please feel free to PM me with questions.
No returns unless watch is not as described.

This is a clous de Paris dial... stunningly beautiful, but not guilloche

But Clous de Paris is a guilloché pattern. Are you saying that it's stamped, not carved?

Very true... I stand corrected... however I would suspect that many like me would consider guilloche to be more elaborate artisanal dial work ... when someone says Guilloche, Hobnail is not what pops into my mind..
Like I said, this bit of semantics takes nothing away from the beauty of this dial

If we're walking a semantic tightrope, I don't think this dial would qualify as hobnail, either. Waffle would be correct, IMHO.

Agree, beautiful dial. Agree to disagree about Clous de Paris/hobnail. It's the first guilloché pattern that pops into my mind, and incidentally the first pattern mentioned (and beautifully displayed) on the Breguet web page on engine-turned dials.

    http://www.breguet.com/en/house-breguet/unmistakable-signs.

I would quibble with the term guilloché only if it was used to describe a dial that was not engine-turned by hand. I'm not sure whether that is the case or not with this dial - it looks like little Clous-de-Paris guilloché pyramids to me - but I'm sure that someone here knows.
