Hello OF, I have alluded to a string of sales and here is the start, this being my first FS post please let me know if I misstep. Listing for sale is my Constellation C-Case 168.029, one of the designs by Genta. It is in amazing condition, in my humble opinion. Case and crown appear to be original, the edges show their sharp chamfers and top of lugs retain the brushed finish. It does show the usual surface marks from wearing, the case back has one mark from a FTO (failure to open) but the observatory logo is sharp. The gasket is the original yellow and the movement is clean and matching. It has not been serviced while in my possession, the day/date tic over at midnight and this piece has the pencil hands . I'll let the photos do the rest, asking $850 USD - OBRO. Will come on basically unworn black leather strap and generic SS buckle. My first C-case was a gold capped linen dial 168.029 caliber 751. I have fond memories of that watch!
Some Q's about the smudge around 5o'clock on the white gold bezel. With a jewelers cloth it is easily removed, during service the bezel can be fully cleaned when the crystal is removed.
