I just came across this. The seller if from South Korea and he has zero feedback as a seller. So that right there throws up huge caution flags.

But this piece looks completely mint. The images are not nearly large enough for me to tell if it's redialed so I am curious if anyone here has an opinion?

Case is immaculately finished and has the high gloss chamfer on the edges. It's a 17 jewel movement and who knows what it looks like inside. Dial may be original but I think it is probably refinished...note the non-Omega quality of the lume dots at the hour markers.

This is a watch that needs pics of the movement and a high res pic of the dial if there was ever one.

    Cheers

    Desmond

I've actually already asked for hi-res pics for this watch so if they send them to me I'll post them here.

Yes, I asked this morning. But I expect we will not hear back. Looks sensational, but if it's a redial, who cares?

The photos he sent me were actually just the ones in the listing but he sent this message back:

    Thank you for interest in.
We will attached photo what you wanted.
I cann't send you a it's movement photo but it is 100% authentic omega and good condition.
If it's not original and not good condition, I'll refund 110%.
We do not deal in fake watches.
This watch is very valuable for collect or present.
    Thank you.

Authentic Omega movement maybe but is it the right one for the watch? I hate weasel words like that.

My gut feeling is that this one is actually OK.
I own the same model with silver dial that I bought NOS in the late 80s (with purple snort still on the back).
Only difference I can see to mine (despite the dial color and slightly different hand lume inlay) is that this one still has tritium.
Otherwise all the details look the same.
I would be surprised if someone put that lot of effort in falsifying such a relatively cheap watch.

The Swiss made on the bottom of your dial and the eBay dial are quite different.

Most of those pristine semesters out of Korea are redials. Refinished and overpriced
