The font looked okay to me at first glance, but then I noticed that there are no minute markings, which I don't think I've seen before. I'm assuming this is a redial? It is a caliber 500 in solid 14k case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111036436589?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It does look a little strange doesn't it. I must confess, I haven't seen one missing markers before unless it was a redail so I'm going to go that way. Happy to be proven wrong by someone more knowledgable.
Redial, and not a good one. 12 markers aren't even centred and there are gunk marks under most of the markers where the little feet have been glued instead of being riveted. That an unusual patina as well. Still, a NOS dial would fix those problems ;-)
I believe the dial was cleaned and paint bubbles removed, then the script refinished and hardware reinstalled. Either way it is refinished.
