Thanks S., actually someone messaged me privately to also point out the watch was recased in a national production case, and finally that the hands seemed wrong. A lot of wrong stuff for a single watch.

 

Agreed but it's missing a hand!
It sold for about 3500 USD on auction just a few days ago, and was back on sale a day or so later.
My hunch is that the buyer had bid without realizing a hand was missing, and the description did not point it out --something to that effect.
