Redial Uni compax

Dear all, i have purchased this uni compax lately.
when i check the reference number seems, it is for the compur model instead of uni compax.

May i know any thoughts about this reference? I noticed the chrono hand should be wrong.
I have found similar dial style of compur or compur 30 online.

I wouldn’t say the dial is necessarily incorrect for the reference, but I haven’t come across many other examples.

Only other one with period-correct dial is this one with a later serial auctioned by Eppli:

The example in the archive has an interesting dial with a Savoy knot and without model name

Dial looks OK. I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet in terms of the reference, but I would include the caliber in your research and analysis. Compur 30 usually has a 386, right? What does your watch have and also keep track of the caliber in other references you find. (I'm not saying the caliber will be definitive one way or the other, but I would just add it as a data point).

Yes thank you for all reply. The caliber for this watch is 285 which i think its fit the uni compax model. Photo for reference.

yes, this is what I would expect to go with your dial. If it had been a 386 I would feel less confident the dial matches the movement. However I'm not sure it gives direct evidence as to the dial/movement combo matching the case. All you can do is gather other examples at this point I guess and see where the data takes you.

Yes i tried to find it online but in vain. And the serial number as uni compax is quite old too. Thanks

A serial for uni compax could be starting at 600xxx so if looking at serial alone you are OK. Beautiful dial/movement by the way..
