I am asking about this Zenith Sporto Stainless Steel Men's watch from 1958 Cal.40 on eBay
Does it look like it is a fair deal at the $950 BIN price?
Thanks

If you provide the link it will easier to assess. The photos you uploaded are very small so not much in terms of clarity there

Nothing jumps out as glaringly wrong. The case is 34mm so would hold the value down

Calling @CaptainWinsor, he seems to know these models well

im here. IMO redial but I’d like to see better pics of the sub second. $950!!!! That’s outrageous for a Sporto

maybe 3X

Funny that you say that, because I actually considered writing 3x. But then I thought I didn't want to be one of "those guys". 😁

And more seriously, a beautiful Sporto in pristine condition could possibly bring $475.

I’m always willing to be ‘that guy’.

How is this case styling possible from this decade?
This is clearly a 70s case design.

No. Google "alpina tresor" for example, see what pops up.

OK. But, I've never seen an integrated bracelet style in such an old watch.

The bracelet is typical from the 40s. May be steel or chrome plated, original brand may be Bonklip, it was made by other brands too (ZRC/Acieriche, Gay Freres,...). Bonklip was issued in the RAF I think.

I actually meant the case lugs are integrated style. Bracelet yeah looks from that time.
