I am asking about this Zenith Sporto Stainless Steel Men's watch from 1958 Cal.40 on eBay Does it look like it is a fair deal at the $950 BIN price? Thanks
If you provide the link it will easier to assess. The photos you uploaded are very small so not much in terms of clarity there

Nothing jumps out as glaringly wrong. The case is 34mm so would hold the value down Calling @CaptainWinsor, he seems to know these models well
im here. IMO redial but I’d like to see better pics of the sub second. $950!!!! That’s outrageous for a Sporto
Wait. The first one had a black dial now the link is for a white dial. Which one are we checking out. btw I wouldn’t pay that much for either
Funny that you say that, because I actually considered writing 3x. But then I thought I didn't want to be one of "those guys". And more seriously, a beautiful Sporto in pristine condition could possibly bring $475.
All original from 1937, only drawback - has engraving on the case: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zenith-1930s-vintage-watch-with-10-1-2-N-S-I-10-5-NSI-movement/362842600061Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I always thought it was inspired by Rolex Oyster https://www.vintage-wristwatches.co...ct-gold-octagonal-vintage-rolex-oyster-watch/
The bracelet is typical from the 40s. May be steel or chrome plated, original brand may be Bonklip, it was made by other brands too (ZRC/Acieriche, Gay Freres,...). Bonklip was issued in the RAF I think.
