I would like all of your recommendations on a nice rubber strap for my -76 Speedy. Since we are going into summer, i'd like something a little more comfortable. I like the Omega Speedmaster Racing strap, but I see it is quite expensive at $300. Can anyone shoot me in the right direction for something around the $150 range?

Sorry if this is the wrong subforum for this question.

    Thanks in advance!

what do you have in mind? straight end or curved end?
will you have it on a deployant clasp or buckle?

I'd want the curved ends to meet the case and the traditional buckle is fine with me.

i don't have any suggestions for curved end rubber but as @yinzerniner suggested in an older post you will have better luck by searching straps for the 2500 42mm Planet Ocean which will fit just fine.

Isofrane is really comfortable but I'd keep those to dive watches. Bonetto Cinturini makes very affordable very comfortable rubber straps. I have a Hirsch accent on my SM 300 and I like it a lot. This isn't a great photo but you can see the pattern in the rubber.

From a beery London GTG, you're looking for a strap on Speedy and someone asked about curved ends ! It strikes us that the curved end would be far more comfortable.

    That looks awesome! Nicely detailed.
Wow I have to say I'm surprised how affordable they are. Thanks for the link.

Got the strap, happy with it. A nice strap for the money with a decent buckle.
The only downside (my mistake, i haven't paid attention on the dimensions for the specific strap) is the thickness. Its a little bit on the thick side for my taste.
ill have to try another model from them next time.

Nice, i've been thinking about picking up an Omega Nato instead of the rubber.

You could always go to an Omega boutique for a new buckle. They run about $16.00

Some good suggestions in here already. I've been looking for comfy straps in general, and after trying an omega rubber 18mm strap for my midsize, I've realized that Omega makes some really comfortable rubber straps.

The 980000364 is really nice, but going rate is $260+ through an AD/boutique. I've tried a generic (of the 98000364 model) from ebay, and it's pretty fantastic at only $30.

Hirsch does make some curved straps (unlike the one shown earlier), and the going rate is about $60 shipped on ebay. The models I want are always out of 20mm, so I've not yet bought one to try for myself. People are always raving about hirsch though...
