About 35 years ago I bought a second hand Seamaster (ST 145.0029) watch, wanted something to use everyday for work and I have to say that it was never well looked after and 25 years later it gave up the ghost and only worked sporadically, so was put in a draw and forgotten. A few weeks ago when I was having a clear out I opened an old cardboard box and there it was looking in a very sorry state and in a pang of nostalgia decided I'd like to use this again. So now need to find a repairer and during my online searches came across this site so thought I'd ask here for recommendations (so much good information I've been reading for days) and whilst I'm happy to do this at a distance (postal) I wouldn't mind discussing the work personally.
I have contacted a couple of people that seem to mentioned quite regularly here, but do feel I'd like to actually take the watch in personally. I'm based in Plymouth Devon.
    Thanks in advance.
