I have a couple divers with Lorsa movements- pretty robust and whole movements can be purchased cheaply. I got a NOS one for $25 for this one which had a rusty movement but was cosmetically nice - runs like new now.

Not normally a fan of day/date but this is a nice execution. Chrome plate looks to be in excellent shape, dial looks good with bright puffy lume- this is a good looking watch.

That one went quick. Great looking lugs though.
I would have bought it if I'd seen it.
The possible WW2 veteran connection would have cinched it for me.

Could be distortion from the crystal but to me the lettering on the dial looks poorly hand drawn.

yeah that looks fishy but at 45 bucks worth a flyer for someone.

Personally I think it's the scuffs on crystal but who knows. The seller seems to be looking for quick bucks and $45 for a beater is worth the risk.
