This is a good looking SS Wittnaur. I would call it a C-shaped but those lugs are really something else and almost seem to wrap the case and twist- great looking modernist design. The dial, lume and hands are excellent but as the seller notes, the second hand has been cut short- I assume sourcing another second hand wouldn't be too difficult. Use the second hand flaw to your advantage and see if you can get this thing for a steal. https://www.ebay.com/itm/154096072578Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Here’s one only offered to UK buyers. You can buy this watch new for around £300. 6 hours left and no bids starting at £100. Rather nice looking diver with sapphire crystal, NH35 movement. Comes with case and papers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mens-Pan...SwPUNfX2XU&LH_Auction=1&LH_ItemCondition=3000Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Here we go! Very fancy SS Bulova with Roman dial, nice looking lume and dog-legged case. Sunburst dial looks good under the scuffed- up crystal. Also has the 23j USA movement, and seller claims "serviced", which I highly doubt looking at the crystal, but sure- whatever, it's $125 w/make offer. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184457397710Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I know nothing about the brand, new seller. But really cool watch, seller claims it's serviced, SS case, and the price is right. Get it before I change my mind. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Romont-Aut...284044?hash=item217379d14c:g:vAgAAOSwWHtfJfQfPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The 2472 looks a lot like the 2453 movement of my Midland, both are 25 jewels. A evolution of that design no doubt. Certainly a class act. IIRC Hamilton used the 2453 in some of their products.
It's my birthday tomorrow as well! I already bought a (much more expensive) watch this week, but I'm open to a cheap indulgence if anyone has a suggestion.
The last two I bought were Birthday gifts to myself. Now at the biblical expiration date so the rest is gravy. Shouldn't be hard to coast for a few years, its all downhill from here.
Well, as you look down into the grave, dig a few watch hidey-holes along I-40 from the NC line & let me know When you’re gone, I’ll dig ‘em up on the way to visit family. I will wear them with fond remembrances every time.
One of the nicest "devil divers" I've seen. It's an auction, so may not be cheap. Too small for me at 35mm, so I'll share: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bu...124036?hash=item2f4a6d0e84:g:ELQAAOSwTPdfaQMaPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
