For you 'muricans (and, for that matter, anyone else 😉) looking to get into some vintage Swiss, here's a large steel-cased, manual-wind, ~35mm Tissot Antimagnetique, reference 6445, from the late 1940s. Baton hands and unsigned crown are correct; lume on the numerals is in good shape although the lume seems to be missing on the hands. Center second hand is missing. Dial looks clean. Vintage rivet-style aftermarket bracelet is a plus. BIN price is $155, seller is in the USA.

^^^ @Spruce ??? Right case shape for you.
Thanks @Emeister 😀
I hadn’t seen one of these before and don’t own a Bulova, although I know they’re popular here on OF.
Although I don’t normally go for day/date (Apart from a couple of Seikos) that linen dial looks really good particularly in grey so I shall probably put in a bid 🤞

For what it's worth, I had a Seikomatic with a light brown linen dial, was it ever challenging for me to find a strap that would go well with it. It had a lot of patina on it too, not a pleasing type of look.

This one’s on offer on Chrono24 for a very reasonable £276 plus postage from a seller/dealer in Vietnam from whom I’ve bought a similar watch previously.

The description confirms it has been serviced. The watch I bought had also been serviced and works perfectly including the quick date advance.

1975 Longines Admiral 5 Stars Automatic Ref. 3007-1

Edit:

This is the one I bought for £323

Two more gems from the same seller:

A serviced Enicar with the original signed BOR bracelet and the crown with the cool Saturn logo. This one is quite tempting to me but I am trying not to grow my collection.

Cheers @wagudc - I bought this Enicar earlier in the month after seeing it recommended here. Lovely little thing with an Enicar bracelet to boot. Got stung on some ridiculous import fees but hard to complain when that applied logo glints back at you in the sun!
