Just a quick thread note--as with the similar thread on the Vintage Omega forum, could someone with admin. pin this?

1990s Era retro Cyma, $138 plus shipping from Japan

https://buyee.jp/mercari/item/m45521909007?conversionType=Mercari_DirectSearch

The listing does not have a lot of information, but the same watch has sold elsewhere. It has an ETA 2824 movement, 34mm case size and is only 9mm thick. (See: https://antiwatchman.com/products/detail.php?product_id=9046 )

Very nice example of a steel cased, "invisible crown" Futura, from 1957 - the "Watch of Tomorrow." Dial, hands, case and the caliber 23.3 full-rotor automatic are all well preserved. BIN price of $225 is reasonable for one in this nice shape:

Still retains its original crown - these are often lost:

Wear it forever without winding!!

1950s marketing was on another level. Love it!

Friday special! Cool looking cushion case 70's wrist bling. Case back pic isn't clear but pretty sure it's all stainless. Dial is stunning, great 36mm size and seller accepts offers.

Omega Constellation 14381 with a clean railtrack dial. The case and medallion are unfortunately overpolished. The price is very reasonable given it also comes on a BoR. If I didn’t already have one I‘d buy it and look for a sharper case for a swap.

Technos Sky Lark - all stainless 37mm watch with original bracelet/crown, etc. for $98 + $10 shipping from Japan. Stated to be working condition. You can't see it too well in this pic, but the top of the case has really nice radial brushing. This is an absolute bargain:

I love a Technos! Cheap 70s goodness with ETA movements.

Gah, that's very tempting 😵‍💫

seller don’t response messages, and I detected 2 red flags, the Chrono hand is still in the same position in every pic and the date is croocked. I was ready to buy a couple of things passed lol

Well, now I'm embarrassed for not looking more closely, lol. I would love to pick one of these up some day.

Those were the first things I noticed. The crooked dates indicate that it needs to be serviced. I wouldn’t consider the hands being in the same position as a red flag. It’s a manually wound watch and it could be the seller wound it a couple times, started the chrono, and let it run until it was out of power. It’s possible that the watch could be non running, but even if it is a working watch, the dates indicate it needs a service anyways.
