1958 Tissot Seastar Automatic dress/sports watch on the 'Bay at a very reasonable €99 buy-it-now.

All-steel, 33mm screwback case by master casemaker Huguenin Frères; smooth-running, full-rotor, in-house automatic movement; raised logo and hour markers; correct handset with center seconds. Crown has been replaced.

Prices for these manual-wind Sea Hunters do vary a fair but, I'm a bit surprised at how little this is going for at a BiN ($599, though as always, I'd bet they would let it go for a bit less). The average seems to be somewhere between £750-1100, so this seems like a really nice deal, even given the wear on the bezel, spitting on the hands, and slight spotting on the dial.

More Bulova refurbs on eBay and they have both the Stars & Stripes (additional discount code brings it to $184!!) and Surfboard chronos (no further discount). Pretty faithful re-editions with their super high-frequency quartz for a small fraction of what vintage would cost. I'm awfully tempted by the Stars & Stripes...it's the best price I've seen on this model.

I’m on vacation on a Carribean cruise. Was offered this watch on a close out for $175 in the onboard gift shop. No sales tax.

You win! And it must have been a new one too. Bulova still shows the Chronograph C on their website on sale for $556.
