Nice looking Lip linen dialed with date and GP case in nice condition. Love the case back. Very classic and clean looking 60’s watch. https://www.ebay.com/itm/164348089072Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Fabulous radial dialed Hamilton in Stainless. I have purchased from this seller before- they have nice stuff, do take reasonable offers and stand behind their watches. edit- I just noticed the wear on the lugs from the previous stretchy bracelet (and yes, it’s polished, this is bargain thread, not Uber picky collector thread). A ding against the watch but if this watch were flawless it would be thrice the price. Put a thick padded strap on it and you will never see the lug wear. https://www.ebay.com/itm/353177843345Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
And yes, if this watch were in a shop for $36 I would break a finger going for my wallet....when I didn’t have more watches than I can wear in several months.
Lovely multi-textured dialed Wittnauer. Seller says freshly serviced- consider he shows a pic of it in pieces, it would have been silly not to. https://www.ebay.com/itm/254695537857Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Pretty bad redial @adrian scott be careful with what you're looking at. Based on the reference 166.017 this should be a Geneve from 1974
Nice SS Yema. A little patina on the bottom of the dial but not bad and overall is a nice watch for little money. Size stated at 35mm which makes this a decent size. Says not tested but second hand is moving in the pics so signs of life at the least. https://www.ebay.com/itm/143386595697Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Wear it exclusively for a week in the fall/winter (long sleeves) and you’ll totally forget about the size. I did that self-challenge for a month about a year or so ago and I haven’t worn anything larger than 37 for more than a day since. Plus, if you can get past the size thing, you can wear bad-ass pieces like this 32mm slice of awesomeness.
Embrace the smaller. It opens up a whole 'nother world. Plus, there's less demand. Prices are much, much better.
And I have realIzed that strap choice makes a huge difference in how these smaller pieces wear. When I first got into smaller watches I thought a beefier strap would make them appear larger, but it was quite the opposite. A strap/ bracelet with a severe taper can actually make the watch head appear much larger on the wrist. Getting used to a 14mm buckle or claps took some getting used to, but now a strait or 2mm drop bracelet feels like a shackle. A slim unpadded strap as opposed to heavily padded also makes the watch head appear to sit higher and look thicker. Thanks to @Syrte for helping me find my way on straps to pair with vintage watches.
Here’s a little cutie. GP Elgin from their glory days: working U.S.A. made movement, crisp dial and fabulous swinging lugs. Seller claims a bit of wear through on the plating but I didn’t really see it in the pics. Great piece for a man or woman...hint-hint (gift idea). https://www.ebay.com/itm/392916560844Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
