Possible good deal. Needs work, probably broken mainspring. Bidding still low at $26. Bulova , looks very old (1943)and very unusual case, dial really rocks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-BULOVA-21-JEWEL-14K-ROSE-GOLD-FILLED-MANS-W-WATCH-1943-AS-IS/363077485266?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=225086&meid=949663d33e614cad8208ae8e9c93886e&pid=100290&rk=2&rkt=4&sd=254690986180&itm=363077485266&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2060778&brand=Bulova&_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507
I'd strongly considered bidding on that Bulova, even if I never got it working the case design and dial is worth something as a show piece. Also one might find a movement suited to it. Only reason I didn't is I would probably only end up driving up the price making it a poor investment for a collector who would be willing to go all in on restoring this fine old watch to full glory. If anyone here does get this old timer please let me know how it turns out, along with details of the movement. I'm sure it would show up on the Bulova thread sooner or later anyway. I ran across another Benrus in non running condition. Which despite its round case was powered by the same BB4 movement used in my tonneau style. It only occurred to me later that I already have a complete running BB4 movement I picked up as a spare in case mine gave up the ghost. I also picked up a three pack of stems for these movements.
