Gold filled Gruen Pan American. The case back isn’t marked Pan-Am, but it is. This is about as clean as I have ever seen one (expect for mine 😉). These were only made from 1945-1949.

the bracelet is awesome on this as well, no clue of bracelet size but regardless, these look great on leather. Someone grab this please- I’m having a hard time resisting this one

I'm trying to temper my desire for some of these watches. Gotta figure a $100-150 service right? Also consider parts might not be available?

Case in point: I absolutely love this dial, but the hell is a Luch?

Russian watch, I own the good plate version. $85 is a standard to not very good price for these. I think the USSR cranked these out by the millions.

If this Pobeda is any indication the markers are likely not applied but rather are slits cut into the dial face, a gold colored base material showing through. Either that or the gold tone is somehow applied to the exposed metal.

The effect is striking when you view the dial from various angles, the markings seem to float above the dial, as if in the crystal.

Cool dial but I wonder if the hands are original, they don’t really tie in aesthetically.
Looked more into it and you're right. This is what is should probably look like. Can't say I hate the hands but definitely not as aesthetically pleasing as the originals.
