OF bargain alert- from our own @Fatcat is this lovely Seamaster hummer. He is getting antsy and has dropped the price to what is essentially giving the watch away with the service and bracelet.

Please someone put him out of his misery and buy this lovely brick of mid-century yumminess.
Hmmm you can see why he is struggling to sell with all the other lovelies for sale. Something of an acquired taste.

We are kind of in a feast mode on the FS section right now. But it is an usual piece and being fully serviced is a huge deal when it comes to hummers as you can count on your fingers the number of people on the planet that are qualified to work on them.

Classic stainless Clebar (Zodiac) with a lovely dial and bright puffy lume. Crystal has trapezoidal date magnifier which I haven’t seen on a clebar before- nice touch. Should polish out with a wet sand. Doesn’t mention size but assume around 33-34 looking at it.
Seller says running and is accepting offers.

Classic stainless Clebar (Zodiac) with a lovely dial and bright puffy lume. Crystal has trapezoidal date magnifier which I haven’t seen on a clebar before- nice touch. Should polish out with a wet sand. Doesn’t mention size but assume around 33-34 looking at it.

Very nice! You could buy vintage dress Seamaster for close to $1000 or you could buy this for a fraction of the price. If you aren't stuck on a name, you would hardly notice the difference.

So here is an interesting one from down under- an “Allegro” stainless hummer- which is very clearly a Zenith Surf. The dial is a stunning blue, lume looks bright lemon yellow and puffy (albeit some loss on the minute hand which could be matched). Case has honest wear and edges look very sharp. Seller says running and has make offer- this would be a fun one to add to a hummer collection.

Wakmann Braille watch in chrome plated case- these are a fun horological novelty. This looks to be in very nice shape, but seller doesn’t say if it’s working or not. These are typically small in the 32mm range, but they do vary. @DaveK has a Braille watch on a bund strap to add a little bulk, the irony of a watch for the blind on a pilots strap wasn’t lost.

Awesome! I am so glad you got it, it was a beauty. I am trying to keep my collection a reasonable size, but I almost caved on this one. If someone hadn't picked it up by now, I surely would have bought it myself.

Received this last night. It was absolutely filthy and needed a lot of sterilizing lol. While it’s not a trophy piece, it cleaned up nicely and for $250, it’ll be a fun wear without worry piece.

Nope! It runs well enough, has charm, is comfortable on the wrist… it’s a win for me 😀 It did have a really loose movement do to missing spacer ring (no bendable tabs in this one) but that was remedied by an appropriately sized rubber o-ring I had on hand.
