OK, I spent a few minutes trawling eBay.de, where there are many many Russian watches. A disclaimer: I don't know a lot about watches and I know less about prices. I don't have any real idea if these are good or good deals. But I kinda liked them, at least at the price, and that's enough for me.

I also flirted with a large number of Junghans watches but couldn't bring myself to post any. They all looked good at first, but had small sizes, chipping chrome, wonky dials, or some other flaw. But they're on there, by the dozen.

I’ve seen that. But the one on that watch is the older skinny style which goes well on small lugged watches. Plus I don’t think it’s an actual brand named Bonklip- but there wasn’t a clear shot of the clasp. We shall see when he get it.

 

A bargain indeed! The pictures were not the best, so it will be nice to see what it looks like after it arrives.

 

I think it will look sharp on black leather.

 

I actually had an early Seastar with the starfish back and factory bracelet.


I gifted it to a close friend when I got my first silver Seamaster....he loves it and wears it on rare occasion but in hindsight it was a rarity and I should have kept it...but then I wouldn’t wear it like it don’t wear my silver Seamaster’s.
