Another 70’s Lanco, this time with green sunburst dial- this one is really pretty. We saw the last one had an Eta so we can probably assume the same for this- but at the price, who cares! Two words for the next owner- chestnut suede.

Very pretty Accutron 214 with tucked lugs (same case as the Astronaut). For those that don’t know these. The movement is a tuning fork, not a quartz movement- amazing technology. The two discs on the back- one is the battery door obviously, and the other is a flip-key that lets you set the watch- a very cool feature to these watches.
Seller says running fine with new battery, but these always need a service and need to be recalibrated to 1.55v if they haven’t already. Only a handful of watchmakers can still work on them so make sure you know who they are. Price is high-ish for an unserviced Accutron, but they have make offer

Came home from work to find a lovely little package had arrived. Thanks for the tip!

This watch reminds of the song:

And another wannabe Polerouter- it this one has some fairly nice looking parts. Case is a stainless MLB with twisted lugs, movement looks like an eta- what’s not to like. At 34.5mm it’s about right for a poor man’s Polerouter

That one is really nice, if I wasn't on my usual buying ban I'd have probably gone for that.

The case would make a good candidate for a light polish without risk of losing the sharp edges. Movement looks a bit dirty though so would probably need to factor in a service.

Nice stainless Olma coming in at 34.5mm. I think we can safely say this watch had very little wear and looking at the facets, I doubt it has ever been polished. Black dial is stunning with bright yellow lume pips that match the hands. Movement looks like an A.Schild which is excellent.
If you have been lusting after a black dialed Seamaster but are getting impatient waiting for a real one- this would be a good place holder on the wrist.

Didn't realize the lume was that damaged on the hour hand. Probably disqualifies it. Would have looked pretty neat with the beat up dial and clean hands.

I tried a reverso on at my watchmaker’s once. Loved it, very very much. But it is an investment I have yet to make

Was considering this but something about the marks on the dial is putting me off

Marks on the dial or marks on the crystal?

Yeah that is the question

The dark blue line up the centre and branch towards 11oc seem like damage on the dial to me but could be wrong. Not willing to risk it I think.

That’s on the dial- good spot! The seller seems to shoot all the rest in really bad lighting for some reason...hmmm 😗

I agree. Not sure if its water damage, oil damage or some sort of historical attempted repair with lacquer of some sort.

Note to self: look at watches for sale from desktop, not iPad.
