This one is interesting- LaCloche diver made by Stowa- yes, the German company of which we do not mention their history 👎
Stainless case, PUW 156 movement for which parts are abundant out there, lovely multi-colored dial, great looking lume- and 38mm!!! Yes, modern sized diver!!
Plating on the crown is flaking but a new crown should be fitted anyway and it’s a generic part. Comes with a vintage style diver strap which is very appropriate.
Price point is spot on for an all stainless diver of this era and he has make offer.

Someone please make an offer on this one- I can’t stand looking at it anymore!
I'd consider it - I like it, but for one thing, the seller won't post to the UK and for another, I am trying to become a zen master watch collector by not buying loads of cheap things before I've acquired one particular expensive thing I'm after. It's not easy, but if the money keeps coming in quicker than it goes out, I'll get there.

Me too, but for some reason I keep returning to this thread. Perhaps one has to test their will to know that they truly have will power. Or perhaps I would like to live vicariously through others.

Well, I think there's a lot for someone like me to learn from a thread like this and I do share in the pleasure it brings other members when they pick something up - it's like scoring one for the team.

Got another Benrus D-Day reissue. Seller says “used” but condition says otherwise- that caseback doesn’t have a mark on it and that factory strap looks unworn. Asking isn’t bad for what these seem to be going for these days- particular since it looks like NOS even though the seller doesn’t say that. An offer around $200 would be nicer. I am wondering if it has the soft-case and box considering the condition.

Okay, this is tough for me but I am saving for a move. This watch is stunning. Appears to be a true NOS. I negotiated down to $320usd with shipping included if you are in the U.S. and they stated that was the lowest. If you are somewhere else maybe you can work that out with seller through DM.

It is around 31mm and it is plated in front. But you should have a good life on it seeing as it is unused.

Here is the JBC long clasp. It made up for missing a link or two on my 666 brick&bead bracelet until I found another bracelet, then stole a link from that.
The only way to get one of these is to buy a bracelet that has it. The one this came on was a very long mesh with 17.5mm lugs so it wasn’t very desirable- cost me $60. Although the bracelet was too long for me (and can’t be resized as many of the older mesh bracelets were crimped at the ends) the clasp cover paid itself off.

This is a neat watch with skeleton case. Seller says it’s cleaned, lubed and regulated. I tend to believe he did go over it as he is selling a ton of watches and some parts and watchmaking tools- or he he bought out a watchmakers estate and assumes it was serviced (which would be a big assumption).

Check out his other listings- way too many to post here.

Maybe it’s me, but that Sears chronograph does not ring a bell with me! Contrary to the Easy Rider chronographs, this is a full stainless steel case and the movement is an automatic with day date indication on the subdials? What is this thing?

Anyone have an idea what movement is in this watch? Easy to find parts?
Looks like a 1 Jewel throw away job to me

Yeah, this might be a bit of a mess. You would likely need a donor movement.

Seller has posted more info on the issues. I would show the thread to my watchmaker if I were interested. I know my watchmaker has a pile of parts watches that weren't worth fixing. Maybe yours has one two and a match for parts.

This is cool too. Lots of patina but great style and price for a working piece from a great brand

Didn't realize the lume was that damaged on the hour hand. Probably disqualifies it. Would have looked pretty neat with the beat up dial and clean hands.
