Just picked up my first vintage Omega and I want to treat it to a service.
Any recommendations for servicing in the U.K. I’m based in the Midlands.

Looks like he left STS earlier this year - I've not used STS after he left so can't comment on them.

 

Just found him. South end on sea. Must have set up on his own.

I had my Seamaster serviced by watchguy (Christian). No problems at all and maybe not as long a waiting list as the others....

 

STS do mine with no issues. Mr Freese has an equally good reputation. Looks like a fantastic watch and a really nice example!!!!

 

Hello @Castle4444 . Yes... get yourself (or your watch) down to Essex mate. I live in Dorset now so I combined taking my Dad's 105.012-65 Speedmaster to STS with a trip to London.

At the time Simon Freese was the vintage expert there. He explained everything and answered all my questions. The good news is he's only a few miles up the road. He, (and also STS) are very highly regarded by many of the experts and collectors on this site.
I was very pleased with the assessment and service I received from both Simon Freese and Swiss Time Services.
It comes back in a lovely Omega pouch like this. Complete full service but with it's vintage integrity maintained.

Bracelet cleaned. Case cleaned but not polished. Original crystal polished. Original pushers cleaned. Vintage Crown and correct hands fitted.
