Recommendations for service in Michigan

Hi all,

I'm inheriting my grandfather's 60 year old Omega watch. The watch hasn't been run in a while and the dial is somewhat dirty. I'd like to get the watch both serviced and cleaned. I live in Michigan. I was wondering if anyone on here has any recommendations for good watchmakers/jewelry shops in Michigan?

This is the guy I used for my '67 Speedy and '86 Rolex. He is very good and will do a great job.

Jamie Dolinar, JD's watch repair is in Sterling Heights and did wonders for my 1969 Speedmaster Professional.

Eh, the pictures on that facebook page show an 8-year old girl putting hands on a rolex... as amusing as that is, I seriously hope an untrained child wasn't given carte blanche in the repair of a clients watch 😀

That is his daughter and his ROLEX, he would never do that with a clients watch. He is a watch collector as well. Omega certified watchmaker

I really only said that half-jokingly--based on a photo with almost no supporting information. From reviews and comments, he seems to really know his craft.
