    Hi all,

I'm inheriting my grandfather's 60 year old Omega watch. The watch hasn't been run in a while and the dial is somewhat dirty. I'd like to get the watch both serviced and cleaned. I live in Michigan. I was wondering if anyone on here has any recommendations for good watchmakers/jewelry shops in Michigan?

    Thanks in advance!

Jamie Dolinar, JD's watch repair is in Sterling Heights and did wonders for my 1969 Speedmaster Professional.

Eh, the pictures on that facebook page show an 8-year old girl putting hands on a rolex... as amusing as that is, I seriously hope an untrained child wasn't given carte blanche in the repair of a clients watch :)

    Welcome to OF fellow michigander!

That is his daughter and his ROLEX, he would never do that with a clients watch. He is a watch collector as well. Omega certified watchmaker

I really only said that half-seriously--based on a photo with almost no supporting information. From reviews and comments, he seems to really know his craft.

I'm almost certain Jamie's 8 year old knows more about watches than most of these so called watchmakers out here. Especially the guy that 1st worked on my watch in New Orleans.
