Apologies if this thread exists elsewhere, didn't see anything

I have a speedy that is 13-14 years old and the chorno sometimes jumps a bit on start. Since I recently took owernship of this lil guy figured it's time to send em off to the spa for a little deep tissue massage and some r & r. The big question is which one and where?

Is there a crowd favorite here?
    I am in Connecticut USA

    Thanks in advance

    M

I suggest you take a look at your cam follower on your B7 A4.
Or if it's an S4, your timing chain components.

I have not. He may be a little slow on the email responses. I usually call him, and he picks up. He's really good and meticulous....

    AND it's a wagon?!
Even better! Nothing beats that sort of practicality while making glorious V8 noises.
Bite the bullet, pop that motor out and it will give you another 100k miles!

    even better still it's a manual :D
Yea I have been going back and forth between selling or just fixing.. but the more i look at what else is out there, the more I'm leaning toward fixing. I went and test drove an s3, which was fun but felt like driving a silent speedy go kart.

    Good luck with the service.

It's a 2009, lowered , mapped engine and gearbox, throttle response chip, 42D downpipe with hi-flow cat.
0-60 4.8 secs. I have never used launch control ! I am scared I will break something . Good fun .
