Hi all

I've been trying to send my watch to some of the famous watchmakers in England for a servicing, but they are telling me some strange things about delivery (e.g. say the watch has no value), so I do not feel confident using them.

I just discovered a friend of mine will be going to Paris tomorrow for 3 weeks. I am considering giving her the watch to bring to a watchmaker there. Hopefully they could finish the service within 3 weeks. If not, they can just send it to me here in Hong Kong.

So my question: can you recommend a watchmaker in Paris who can service a vintage Omega Constellation?

There there are no watchmakers in HK to do such a service? Not a complex watch.

 

My previous experience with the two big watchmakers in Hong Kong was not good.

 

Here's an idea - how about mailing the watch to the British watchmaker from Paris?
