Hi, I recently purchased a 1971 Omega speedmaster 145.022 71st from the original owner, The watch was fully serviced by Omega. All parts that were replaced came with the watch, they replaced the hands, bezel, pushers, crown, gaskets and mainspring. All these parts are currently with the watch and in nice condition. I have the service records and it came with a new old stock 1171/633 bracelet along with the original bracelet missing the end pieces. I purchased the watch to keep and I'm very happy with it, I paid $3200 for the watch and was wondering if that was a fair deal for this watch in this condition. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Once you get the original hands and bezel back on you got a great deal. The watch is worth considerable less with the service hands and bezel that are on it. Protect those original hands.
Thanks, I appreciate that. I figured I would leave the service hands and bezel on to keep the original parts in good condition. But you are correct I should probably put the original ones back on.
Hands and bezel will survive much better back on the watch. Yes it is a good watch. Try and find another at that price today.
great watch for a great price! old bezel looks in great shape and I would recommend to put it back on. congrats!
I got the original bezel put on today and will have the hands placed back on soon. Thanks to everyone who gave me good advice and the little push to put it back to original.
