:cautious: Be cautious and on the alert for this scammer. Usually has zero posts and at the moment going by the handle upshawsanio and claims his name is Sonja Upshaw. The D/L looks like a fake compilation but his bank details maybe more reliable as a red flag, but I suspect these change often as well. ::censored::

Red flag for me: Zero posts, new member (April '19) but the big one was that he answered my WTB with photos I had taken when I sold that exact watch to a forum member on OF who still owns that particular watch. :D:D

Very convincing Drivers Licence Number ;) and it must be the very new style of licence where the State Of Indiana stamps everything with the Great Seal Of The State Of Arkansas.

He seems to be something of a hand with GIMP or Photoshop, though he still got the time wrong - I asked for 7:29 and 15th on the date wheel - so trusting a date and time request is now out. Top photo is the original followed by his workup:

He just had a hard night on the turps John, got a bit mixed up as to where he actually is ;).

I love his Indiana signature though, he could be a great calligraphist if he put his mind to it.

Funny that he didn't want to use a fake Indiana license. He went so far and the dropped the ball...that and his DL number of 99999999. There is an African-American woman with that name in Ft. Wayne, Indiana per Facebook. Somebody should reach out to her because she likely doesn't know that her bank account may be hacked. Or at least reach out Ft. Wayne PD.

Hmm, DL# of 999999999. Should have just used 666. But I don't get mixing up the states. Surely that's just more work in Photoshop and it doesn't make sense. The dumbest crook knows better than that.
I get it! If charged with fraud the defense would be that it was a joke as no reasonable person could take that license seriously. It's like a twenty with Alfred E Neuman's picture.

Oh no! You mean the Neuman commemorative $20 bills are fake?

I was looking for a watch to buy and was contact by a scammer posing as Chase from Nashville Watch. I called Chase to verify and he had not been discussing the watch and did not have one for sale. The scammer used photos from Chrono24 and had a very similar email to Chase.

Scammers are getting pretty persistent, same thing going on at the Rolex forum where anybody can just become a pledge member and list and some innocent buyer thinks he's getting a deal.

Yes certainly looks to be the same scammer. It's an uncommon name, unlikely to be a coincidence.

Thank you for posting this Sir, it makes me very nervous and scared in dealing on the Internet for watches. I have now decided, I will only purchase fro people of companies I know and trust or those with bricks and mortar store that I can visit. It is a sad world we live in now.
