I know rare is a term used a bit to frequently, but I think this comes fairly close. CK 2014 measuring an enormous for 1938 36-mm across and 50-mm lug tip to lug tip. The few others I've seen have had the 26.5 SOB sub seconds movement, this one having a 23.4 SC dating to 1939. Just thought I'd share this one with you.
One of my all time favorite omega watches! This watch is part of omega's medicus line - the center seconds served to help physicians and nurses calculate a patient's pulse rate.
Looks really good on you! I remember seeing a similar one in a local shop, now I'll have to go take a closer look at it!
There is a smaller version of this watch also with the crown standing out rather than flush with the case as in this example.
