Yes, I own it. I bought a few watches in a bundle from a collector who kept these watches in a safe since the 1980's, including this Omega. Is the dial really as rare as I think it is? All the other's I've seen are not the black dial. Fee free to send me a PM if you are truly interested. It's now sitting in my safe, not getting worn. Al
Black dials are uncommon on these. I have some concerns regarding the applied gold Omega logo. These are generally found only on the Constellation models. I would need to research this more to be sure. It's a lovely watch and I'm not sure why you think it too small. At 35mm, it's pretty standard for the early 1950's. gatorcpa
My Seamaster is of the same vintage. I am the third owner, and it is totally original, except for the new, correct case. The dial has the applied Omega logo.
Lots of examples of applied logos (mine is, too) I couldn't find one example of an applied OMEGA, though, that wasn't a redial.
Always a smart _ _ _ ! What I typed is absolutely self evident! Case new, the rest is all original. Suit you better?
No. I don't understand why I'm a smart ass (always) to you? Do you have any examples of smart ass comments I've made? I honestly believed you made a typo. I thought you meant a new crystal or similar. A re-cased watch is pretty uncommon, and the case on yours didn't look new to me.
