    Welp,

I may have done something pretty stupid here guys. Hoping you can make me feel more assured.

Listed as a 16710, from Georgia , missing the crown, no movement shots, no serial number/model number shots. Pretty crappy pics overall as you'll see below.

    And I bought it.

I suspect it's actually a No Date Fat Lady with a really interesting bezel fade. Can anybody back me up on that?

    Really appreciate your help!

I'm not an expert, and the photos won't help pre-authenticate it – but it really depends on what you paid. To my eye it looks worth a gamble. A little strange to see it on a folded link, and the EL's look a little worse for wear, but hey.

What do you know about the seller?

Basically nothing, minimal feedback. It was a full on gamble.

If it's a franken I think I'll be able to part it out for break even at worst (as long as the movement isn't totally shot).

Georgia, the country in Caucasus - or Georgia, the state in the US? :D

It's a Caucasus special. I would be less concerned if it was the US state. I had put the Georgian flag after, but it didn't come through.

Unless someone can point to something that rules it out immediately as a project or replica, you really have to give some indication of what you paid to get any meaningful assurances or feedback on it, one way or the other. I think all jumping off points for evaluating the deal would start with this. Also, just damn curious.

Of course it also has to arrive. ;) But good luck and keep us updated. I am generally pretty cautious with purchases, so I think it's fun to see someone go commando, and I'm always rooting for it to work out when they do!

Oh wait, I have possibly a small assurance for you? Again, doesn't guarantee this ever arrives. But with regard to the watch itself, I just noticed how the handset was relumed at some stage and mismatched against the patina of the dial (which is pleasing). A project or replica would never be this sloppy.

I found the listing and I think you're fine...I wouldn't worry. Also, it's done. Now just enjoy whatever happens next. COMMANDO!

    Wow, indeed quite a gamble.
Tbilisi, Georgia. Free standard shipping from outside the US. this will be quite a wait..
Paypal will definitely be your best friend on this one..
No Date white gold surround dials are interchangeable between the 167.. series. So could be a plethora of parts..
    Good luck.

A hair above $5k, which is where these were 4 years ago if it's legit and actually makes it to America.

was following this too. Bracelet is dated 2 71 so unlikely to match this ref. Hope everything turns out fine. Please update us when you have more photos/info. Good luck!

For sure a scam. Guy gave me a bs tracking number, then gave a bunch of excuses.
