    Hello! First time posting.

Today I bought my first quality watch ever! Or so I hope. I am v ery excited, but also petrified that I may have made an unwise purchase. After some research, I decided to buy this (apparent) beauty for $500 USD. I am quite the novice, however and was wondering if someone could tell me if this is a genuine Seamaster 30 286, and if I got a good deal. The watch runs just fine, movement looks clean. Thank you so much!

Dial has been refinished and the hands are also later replacements.

This watch left the Omega factory looking nothing like this.

Sorry, another typical faux military catches another newbie.

Ah, thank you. That's what I was worried about, as other pictures had different hands. Gonna return and keep searching. Thanks for the help!

The same reference was also issued to the Pakistan Air Force with MIL markings at the back and almost the same black dial.
