Hi can anyone help me identify if this Omega Seamaster is it real or fake? It was a present from my mother and have never questioned it... however I tried to find an omega seamaster that matched 'exactly' but couldn't. I would just like to know a little more about it... excuse the horrible strap and it isn't in perfect condition.
Almost certainly real, but the dial has been incorrectly repainted. Very common occurrence, unfortunately. We'd need to see the inside of the caseback and movement to tell you any more. gatorcpa
Thank you! That explains why the Seamaster text seems to be in wrong place from anything that looked similar to it haha! I'll will post up a picture of the movement, hopefully it hasn't been cannibalised inside :S I think the second hand is definitely sweeping still (definitely no expert here)
