Hi Recently acquired this and wondered whether it was real or fake - any advice/ opinions appreciated. Omega Seamaster 600 Watch meant to be from 1967 Serial No 25100359 comes with booklet Cheers
It's real Omega parts, or at least I think so going by those itsy bitsy pictures. It's just a very badly repainted dial.
Case top is not for a SM 600, can't see the reference number inside the case back so it may be incorrect as well. Its a mess regardless.
The entire case is incorrect, actually I think its counterfeit. Case markings and finish are incorrect, not a SM case reference number. Return it if you can.
Could you provide a link to the auction referenced above? If "Guy" didn't describe this as it is, I'm sure some members here would file a complaint with eBay. Thanks, gatorcpa
Looks like original seller relisted: UK eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage19...ox-Excellent-working-condition-/121359289215?Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hi I email seller with what you had said and he promptly offered a refund. I posted it back and seller has issued me with a refund - still waiting for the refund to clear in paypal. Looks like it's back on ebay..
Appears so, and without transparency on the known issues. Hoping to slip it by someone else no doubt. A shining example of integrity.
