Hello everyone,

Newbie here and first time poster, I just recently started to get into watches and I'm still learning on how to tell whats real and fake.

I found this one online, what do you think?

Thanks!

I don't know the model but it looks like a 266 or maybe 267. I have a similar 266 with identical crown. Everything appears original and in good condition. The 260 series are excellent movements and the exterior looks good. With no sign of water damage to the dial, the movement is probably also in good condition but there is no guarantee of that. Depends on the price and whether you are happy to gamble.

The 26x and 28x were classic manual movements from a golden era of Swiss watchmaking. They are later variations of the much revered 30T2.

Hi Andre, welcome to the forum.

To me looks also very good, with a dial that for some reason has no to very very little patina and looks crisp white.

A very classy watch of the midcentury for a gentleman, with a very reliable and easy to service hand winding movement (assuming the already mentioned variants of the 200 series are there).

Best,

Rudi
