Frankenwatch, if the case reference is to be believed. All the parts are Omega, but the dial/movement combo and case were made about 30 years apart. http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-omegas/vintage-watches-database?ref=14368 The question I have is whether the caseback picture belongs at all. I have to say that at first glance the watch looks pretty good. That spacer would need to have been custom made to fit the watch and the expense really wouldn't be worth it. Something isn't adding up here. gatorcpa
gatorcpa is right. i only had a quick glance, and everything looked real (i.e as gator said, all the parts are omega), but the caseback definately is wrong.
On the omega site you gave a link to it said 17 jewels and 24. However in mine it says 15 jewels. Does that seem right? It seems that it was manufactured in 1939-1944? No?
The movement, dial and hands were made at that time, yes. The case dates from 1969-1970. But again, I'm not sure about the pictures. If you can provide a link to the sales listing, it could prove helpful. gatorcpa
