They're not the highest resolution so maybe some details have been lost but I don't see a serial number or Omega globe on the case . I can't be certain but I thought by 2016 all the watches had the Omega globe on the cases?

EDIT: Any photos of the front?

Do you have complete confidence in the seller, have you checked their honesty as much as you can?

As Meme-Dweller said, from those pictures it looks OK, but then so does this.... Good Luck!

The fake movements for the fake planet oceans are easy to spot as they are not replicating the free sprung balance and instead use a regulator. Not to say it’s impossible to replicate but it hasn’t been done yet. They also dress up the movement with fake jewels but they will lack pivots if you look closely.

For the photos you posted, even though it is not a very clear picture, the first photo looks ok. With the second photo, is there a particular reason why the caseback looks different than the first photo? ie: the text is in different positions.

It sure is in different spots. In picture 1: Planet Ocean by the crown. In picture 2: Planet Ocean by helium release valve.

They apparently seem to be two different watches, with two different hands, and two different box versions in the background. Might be a scam.

They have improved them so you can't just go off old info anymore.

Edited to say: You can no longer just go off the traditional missing pieces like in the video above. They are constantly improving these fakes.

It's possible that it's genuine but a scam based on someone collecting real images of multiple watches to sell as a singular listing. But, "super clones" have really stepped up their game recently.

    Yup indeed.

Here is a good side by side comparison of the fakes and real 8900/8500

    upload_2020-6-11_22-10-4.jpeg

The jewels circled in orange are fake, lacking the pivot.

I see a serial number (can't read it though) and globe on the case in both pics.
