    I inherited my fathers watch and just wanted to get feedback to see if it was real. The back doesnt strike me as being a genuine piece. Its a 14k gold band, and runs on a winding crown which also has the Omega symbol on it.

    Quite genuine, 14K is typically US market, likely caliber 620.

    Then it's worth melt value and what you get for the movement.

    Not very sought after nowadays. We get a fair few of these a year and yes they are real and there was countless models made over the years. ( the model number is inside the case back )
