Because I am quite a noob in watch-stuff I hope you can help me.
Attached some pictures of the Omega Constalletion vintage I maybe want to buy.
Can you give me some advise about the authencicity of this watch?

Thank you very much. I was a little bit confused about the 'Omega' at 6 o'clock because I didn't saw it before (just at 12 o'clock)

On the auction website they made a cost estimation of € 1.650 - € 2.150.
Do you think it is a good cost estimation?

Things are worth what people pay for them. That's a 1970 constellation, and not very collectable. It is a nice watch to wear. The only thing really worth something in it is the gold. I wouldnt pay that much for it, but that's me.

Whohoo nice! That omega logo on the bottom is actually pretty "common" found on some dial at cal 564,751,712, and 1000s caliber... I like the balance of the dial better in this way than the other. As the dial, it got solid gold dial and most probably hands as well... I would say go for it...

Price seems high to me. Why is the range of the estimate 400 euros??
    Gonna second @fjf

Everything checks out, but I struggle to see more than €1100-1300 in this. Remember that people on here are mostly collectors who can "afford" to wait for the right piece at the right time - and price. These are, as rightly said previously, not really collectable at the moment, so IMO not worth over-spending for.

Solid gold dial, must be "rare", therefore inflate the price x 2.

I think it looks good, price might be a bit on the wild side but then again for a gold watch it's not too outrageos. As said gold watches are not in vogue but as long as you like it then that is all that really matters.

That's also my budget, so I try to get it under EUR1000.
The more collectable watches should be - right now - above my budget.
    Or am I wrong?

Maybe the reason for the high price is the warranty card which the seller still have.

A full set - so including everything, i.e. box, warranty, chronometer certificate, etc - ought'n add more than €150-200 to the final price. A warranty card on its own won't add anything, IMO.

There are loads of very, very collectable watches below €1000. I have several a good deal below that amount. Solid gold Constellations, not so much :)

I think that is a 1001 movement. Wasn’t the 1000 series a whole bundle of fun in terms of reliability? Certainly my forays into the 1000-1020 range haven’t been all that happy. As ever I would look closely at any claimed service history here since there could be big bills soon after purchase. Some sort of documented service history or warranty would be more valuable here than an original warranty card IMO though that is always nice to have. A 1001 movement C case wouldn’t be my choice but if you like it then go for it but as noted maybe set a more modest bid limit.

    Thanks for all your advises.
If I compare the Omega Constellation with these Seamaster; do you think it would be more unique due to the Turler text?

The buckle and the crown are not original but that could be a new project to find them to replace it.

"more unique"... Funny turn of phrase.

It's either unique or it isn't. Very few items in watch collecting is, as is the case here.
