I'm interested in buying this watch which appears to be from ~1954. I've searched the Omega page and the code says "Gold capped," but it clearly appears to be stainless....

Does this watch check out? The dial is pretty clean, so does it look like a refinish?

I really love the "arrowhead" markers on these Constellations.

Skip this one, as noted poorly refinished dial.

Note, the Omega database often lists only one of several possible case types. All stainless steel is also correct for this reference.

It doesn't even come close to passing the MOY test with that cross hair on the dial, and the seconds marks are pretty sloppy... text seems a bit slanted also... and I could keep going but you get the idea.

By the MOY test I mean the line (in the cross) should be more like this: http://omega-constellation-collecto...02/its-all-about-moy-except-when-it-isnt.html, actually anyone looking to buy a constellation should take a peek at that website IMHO.
