Always a huge fan of this rivalry this coming weekend.

NAVY pays tribute to their contribution to space exploration with some nice looking game day uniforms.

Fifty-four Naval Academy graduates, more than West Point, have gone on to become NASA astronauts, beginning with Alan Shepard (Class of 1945), the first American to fly into space. Kayla Barron (Class of 2010), the academy's most recent astronaut alum, returned from her first mission, a 176-day stay on the International Space Station, in May and Nicole Mann (Class of 1999) is now in orbit aboard the complex.

GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!!!

Pretty inspiring video...

The squids are going down again!

My classmate, Shane Kimbrough, has commanded the ISS twice and flown on the Shuttle Endeavor. An interesting side note - Shane brought a soccer ball to the ISS that had been recovered from the wreckage of the Space Shuttle Challenger. After returning to Earth, they returned it to the family of Challenger astronaut Ellison Onizuka.
