Hi guys, As I'm looking for a nice UG chrono for quite a while I'm regularly browsing the forums etc for for sale ads. After looking at hundreds of watches, some right and some wrong and reading all the posts over here, I've developed a gut feeling of what might be okay and what not. For the below watch however I can't pin it down, although I have a feeling that the dial is not okay. But still some boxes for original are ticked IMO. I have no real clue about movements and can't say much other than this one here looks a bit messy... What are your thoughts? Thanks and kind regards!
I'm no UG expert, but6 I'd say almost certainly a redial. Among other things, the outer scale markers are far too crude.
Thanks for your opinion. Another thing that turned me off are the different fonts used for the numerals on the scales.
Other members here are much more knowledgable but this is clearly a redial to me, the dial looks crude (look at how lines cross the sundials). Minutes hand looks wrong too.
Font and markers are too thick. Minute track is not centered in the tachy scale. 30 of minute track is not regularly cut off. -> redial
redial. round 3's in the sub dials, should generally be flat tops. and many other things that people have already listed.
