I really hope I haven't just made a big mistake. I know the Constellation market is a minefield.

It looked good to me - though the pictures are not great. Comes with original booklet but no movement shot

Seller has good feedback and says it belonged to his father - I was drawn to the dial.

 

It certainly looks like it could do with a thorough clean! It looked unmolested and unpolished to me...

 

Just make sure the movement number on the papers matches the movement.

 

Good point - I will need to get one of those case back removers first

I don't think you've made a mistake.

 

A bit worn, but a nice watch with the best looking dial for that reference. As long as that linen dial isn't patinated (it looks good!), it will clean up nicely
