This rare all original watch is a collectors dream, from my research this is 1/4 I have seen for sale since 2004 and the only one I have seen with original bracelet and bezel. The Zodiac Zodia-Chron was Zodiacs premium dive chronograph, the reference launched in 1953, the same year as Blancpain FiftyFathoms and even more interestingly 1 year earlier than the Rolex Cosmograph Pre Daytona. As you can see from the pics this watch has very similar design principles to the early Daytona and Speedmaster references. Housing the highly desirable and recently serviced Valjoux 72 signed 'Zodiac Ltd.' movement, the oversized 37.5mm case is untouched with signed crown and case back and sharp lugs. Beautiful condition untouched 'Albino Panda' stepped dial with white sub dials, raised steel markers with tritium points, black and red contrasting chapter ring, original hands and black fixed tachymeter bezel with strong definition, signed 'Zodiac Zodia-Chron Hermatic' 'Swiss Made'. Original and unpolished signed Zodiac Bracelet with all links strong and in tact. Included is a custom made suede leather strap to match (see images). This is a chance to own a rare and historic watch with iconic looks. Looking for 4.25K USD, please contact me with any questions. Omega Forum, WUS and dealer references available at request. Nice watch, GLWTS. Sure the Hodinkee bump won't hurt https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/bring-a-loupe-october-7-2016
Thank you, it truly is an incredible watch and I feel sick letting it go. But something will find its place I hope in the near future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not at all but the deal was already in the pipeline. It has brought through a bunch more enquiries along with it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
