I am parting with what many consider the missing piece to the Wilhelmina/Webersdorfer debate - my ERA 1940s milwatch.
I have sold my UG Wilhelminas (I was fortunate to have bought 2 over the years), and this ERA is arguably rarer.
Its a 34mm (larger than the UG), a beautiful black dial configuration identical to the UG, and just as much charm. Of course, the Wilhelmina/Webersdorfer logo is visible.
Under the hood, a beautiful AS1130 movement, 15 jewels and incabloc. A very sound workhorse mvmt from A. Schild, as opposed to an ebauche based on its design. It was serviced a year ago, and keeps great time.
All in all a gorgeous piece, whether it was issued to the Dutch army, or to someone else, nobody knows!
I am asking $550 + shipping for this piece of history, more than a fair price considering how rare these are.
