·For sale is a rare white dialled Elgin A-11 wristwatch in excellent original condition.
The movement is the 539* with 15 jewels dating to 1941.
The watch sets the time, runs, hacks and keeps good time but no service history is known.
The dial is the rare early white-dialled variant with the red minute markers and the red seconds hand.
Caseback is fully marked and the serial number matches the number stamped on the lug.
Price is £1000 which includes shipping and insurance within EU and UK - anywhere else would carry a small surcharge to be agreed.
