Came in today, with beautiful case design and rare dial. Dial has a wood effect and silver batons. Beautiful 17 jewel manual wind movement Ca. 42, signed Universal Geneve. I like the slim circular case, caseback numbered and signed inside. Universal Geneve emblem on dial and original signed crown, strap will be changed asap. Unfortunately the case diameter measures only 31mm. So my wife can take out of the vitrine to wear, if she likes.
Looks like another crack pot idea from the UG labs in the 70's when hippies had their way ... interesting but I don't think it was a hit ! On a good note, dials could be waxed with household floor polish ...
What a blast from the past as mentioned some wax, my fav. Is future floor wax, will give that piece some nice shine.
