    Hello

Does anyone have this dial in its original case?

I tried to find out information a year ago without any success.

I purchased this dial, movement from a gold scrapper.

I am also after the production run, and when it was produced.

Any information available will be appreciated, and if possible help to obtain a suitable case.

    Regards Gary

    PS: Thank you E-Time

I've seen that dial before... believe it was a posting on another watch forum for someone asking for help (you, Gary?)

The posting I'm thinking of was some time ago, and I can't recall whether it was cased or not.

Who makes a redial like that? Well... who makes a dial like that in the first place. It looks like something that Lisa Simpson drew.

My guess is that it's some sort of special edition/custom job that UG put out.

If this is original dial, this should be a rare species that should be saved.

    Hello

Thank you for your replies, I have uploaded a new image.

From the other photos it looks like the lunar module and other detail are painted on, they are actually raised and done in gold etching.

Yes; woodwkr2 It was me, I did have it posted on another forum. Regards Gary

    Hi Gary,
Why don't you try to contact the company? If this is something significant piece of their history, they should be willing to put effort in researching their past database.

    Here is their contact number:
    Universal Geneve S.A
    38, Chemin du Grand Puits
    Case postale 128CH-1217 Meyrin 2
    Switzerland

    Phone (+41 22) 307 78 80
    Fax (+41 22) 307 78 90

Unfortunately they don't have Museum Curator like Omega (Marc Richon)

I so very much want this to be real. If it came in steel, I might even consider picking one up (being a fan of gnidnal). Kidding aside, please do keep us informed if you do find out more about it. Thank you.
