·I thought this one deserved to be seen by the Omega aficionados here first before posting elsewhere. Hope you enjoy!
This KO 2907/2 Seamaster is the 14k gold cap on S/S version released in 1958. Please see the attached catalogue scan for comparison. (on the far left)
One of the first Seamasters to use the (then) newly branded 321 movement (formerly 27 CHRO C12 T2) which in turn came to be used in the first moonwatches.
This particular 321 movement exhibits a serial starting 15500xxx indicating a 1956/1957 manufacturing date. I believe this really is about as early as it gets for the 321 movement.
All parts appear to be original and correct. Watch shows consistent aging to the dial, hands, pushers, crown and case. Original subdial hands and sweep are also present. Watch has been serviced and movement is running nicely, with all functions working correctly.
It has not been polished and exhibits typical wear for a watch of its age. There is scrape on the underside of the 7 lug, but not noticeable under normal viewing. (please bear in mind all photos are taken with macro enabled)
A lovely looking and increasingly rare watch that I think serves as a fantastic transition piece across the different Omega lines - really a part of history.
On sale at $2700, delivered worldwide via insured courier.
Lots of great feedback online, please check for details -> click here
Thank you for looking.
